Thistle Physio is located in the Cotswold Suite, New Barn Close Surgery on Station Road in Broadway, Worcestershire. Located on the ground floor, there is plenty of free parking on site.
Providing comprehensive assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions for all ages, we offer Saturday appointments between 8am and 2pm.
To arrange an appointment, fill in the contact form on the website or email alison@thistlephysio.co.uk with a brief description of your presenting problem.
You will then be emailed a form to complete prior to your appointment which asks for information regarding your general health, past medical history and to outline the condition for which you are seeking support. A thorough examination of the area will be completed during your appointment and, following this assessment, you will be given a diagnosis and a specific person-centred treatment and rehabilitation plan that’s tailored for you and designed for optimal recovery back to a level that matters to you.
Appointments are open to anyone, and you do not need a doctor’s referral. When attending, it is recommended you wear comfortable clothes you can easily move in for your physiotherapy session.

We ask you to provide 48 hours notice for cancellations, with a 50% charge for any notice less than this.

The causes of lower back pain are many and varied – from poor posture at work to injury, we cater for and provide treatment for non-specific mechanical pain, osteoarthritis, facet and disc problems.
Lower back pain
Sports injuries take many forms. With experience in looking after people with injuries caused by a wide variety of sports – from football and rugby to dance and golf. Our approach is focused on recovery and recuperation, with a view to getting you back to full fitness and competing again.
Sports injuries
One of the most common forms of neck pain is as a result of whiplash, but other causes can be postural and age related wear and tear such as cervical spondylosis.
Neck pain
Nerve pain can, in particular, affect the upper or lower limbs causing issues such as pins and needles, numbness and pain. We provide treatment to manage these symptoms.
Nerve pain
We’re able to treat conditions such as rotator cuff related pain, frozen shoulder, shoulder instability – such as that caused by dislocations – and osteoarthritis.
Shoulder pain
Age-related conditions such osteoarthritis, anterior knee pain, patellar instability, meniscal or following trauma.
